Moondrop Clothiers LLC, a one-woman owned, family supported, web-only operation, was established in 2003 to help fulfill the need for responsible commerce in today’s world. Our mission is to encourage people to feel and look beautiful, be comfortable, and remain stylish while supporting and sustaining Mother Earth at the same time. As part of our business  endeavor, we also strive to educate our customers on the importance of purchasing ethically-produced, high quality, fairly-traded goods. In essence, Moondrop Clothiers LLC is an earth-friendly as well as socially-conscious business that truly cares for the consumer AND those who created our products in the first place.  We offer the latest fashions, home decorating trends, and practical household items at very affordable prices, provide superior customer service, while also creating an awareness of the impact our shopping choices can have on the environment and the less fortunate people of the world.

Our shop recycles Gently-Used merchandise that is in exceptional condition. We also recover/re-sell new Brand-Name items that may be unwanted or surplus in the spirit of recycling. Although, we cannot vouch for the labor practices of all specific companies, we feel it is of the utmost importance to find a home for these goods that could potentially end up in the landfill, and turn the profits to support the fair trade movement.

We strongly support independent art and select handmade goods from artists across the U.S. as well as understand the urgency for fair trade and provide hand-crafted products from around the world in dire need of support.

 Our goal is transform the perception that Fair Trade only concerns banana, coffee, and cut flower producers. It also deeply affects those who individually handcraft household and fashion items, such as clothing, accessories, and home decor. Moondrop Clothiers LLC is proud to present authentic  Fair Trade Global Goods as a viable buying alternative in the promotion of peace and social justice for all people around the world. Each fair trade purchase supports low-income craftspeople and their families by providing stable employment opportunities, safe working conditions, and a fair wage while also helping to maintain their country's cultural traditions and preservation of their natural environment for future generations.

Moondrop Clothiers LLC chooses to operate in an environmentally-friendly manner. Our shop has been inducted into Co-op America's Business Network (CABN), the original socially-responsible business network, stamped with their Seal of  Approval, and given a spot in their National Green Pages (TM). As part of our commitment to being Green, we purchase 100% post-consumer recycled paper and other eco-conscious products for our office supply, minimize waste by re-using shipping cartons and other packing materials as much as possible, and use a Sustainable Green Website Hosting company who offsets 100% of their energy consumption with certified wind power. We also support renewable energy generated from wind, landfill gas, and small hydro sources through Sterling Planet.
